Put-in/Takeout Information

To shuttle point/takeout: From where US 12 and WI 54 meet in downtown Black River Falls, go west on WI 54/Main Street 0.6 mile. Turn left onto 10th Street for 0.1 mile, then take a slight right to remain on WI 54 for another 7.7 miles. Turn left onto John Deere Road. Go 0.1 mile and turn right onto Nichols Road. Cross the bridge and the put-in is at the end of a packed-dirt circle there. Parking is farther south on Nichols Road at the Irving Town Hall, a short walk away. There are no facilities.

To put-in from takeout: From the takeout, backtrack on Nichols Road; go left on John Deere and then turn right (north) onto WI 54, following it 7.7 miles back to town. Turn right onto Pierce Street and drive 0.4 mile. Turn right (south) onto 3rd Street and drive 0.3 mile to the end, where you can see the parking lot for the put-in. Drive up over the bike trail and down the other side to drop off your craft at the landing.
